Honeydew Bears was purchased from Nerina Roberts at the end of 2005. As we know Nerina was “famous” for her Pod bears, and they have come along to join us at the new location.

Our new team consists of :-

Michelle Neethling – new Owner
Michelle has been in the bear making industry since 1998 and was featured in the Award winning teddies book by Micheal Rae and Janet Viverios. Michelle mainly specialises in miniatures and has many wonderful kits available.

Melanie Jones (Michelle’s Mom) has also been in the bear making industry for a number of years and assists with classes and fairs, as well as the overall running of the studio on a daily basis.

We have a lovely wooden studio in the garden.
Such a tranquil setting, just the place for a relaxing cup of tea or coffee.
It really is a must to come and see. We have in store a number of items which were not stocked before.

Of course the must mention is our fantastic assortment of German Mohair! The biggest variety in Africa to be precise. Retailers can contact us for wholesale discounts as well.
